• My Feeds Passes Certification, Where Now?

Well, version 1.0 of My Feeds has now passed certification and is now sitting in the Marketplace waiting for people to show it some love, not that I am expecting a great deal. In it's current incarnation My Feeds is just a neat, simple RSS reader, the question is where do I take it now?

  • The New Website Has Landed

Well after what seems like an age my new website has finally landed with a brand new design and a funky new CMS providing the power in the back end. Orchard is an open source CMS that's been developed by a team of developers at Microsoft and so far I must say that it's pretty sweet, its easy to customise and simple to style.

  • Creating the contact page

Whilst creating my site I wanted to have a simple contact form to allow visitors to get in touch with me without necessarily exposing my email address to all and sundry, fortunately there are a number of modules available for Orchard that provide this functionality, unfortunately none of them were quite the right fit for my needs. But rather than roll my own I decided to use one of the existing modules and customise it to my needs.

  • Sway Village Website Coming Soon

I've restarted my project to create a website for Sway Village, it's still early days yet but I'm going to be using Orchard project again to power the site as it will allow me to get the site up and running without too many head aches. The design is largely finished now and I just need to turn it into a theme that can be used by Orchard project which, hopefully, wont take too long. You can keep up with the progress on the site by following @swayvillage on Twitter or just keep your eye on the sway village website
